Your privacy
ULEO Lessons is run by Lance Augusto (Teacher Lance), an English teacher in Portugal. This page explains, in simple words, what happens to your information.
What I keep
- Your name and email address, so you can log in.
- Your lesson work: answers, scores, writing and voice recordings.
- Your lesson ratings and comments.
- The days you visit the website, to see if you need extra support.
Why
Only to teach you: to follow your progress, give you personal feedback, and offer extra support if you have difficulties. I do not sell your information or use it for advertising.
Who can see it
You, your teacher and Teacher Lance. Other students cannot see your work.
If your scores are low (60% or below) or you visit less than twice a week, a ULEO learning counselor can see a short summary: your name, email, level, scores and visits. The counselor does not see your answers, writing or recordings, and may contact you to help.
Where it is stored
- Your account and lesson work are stored with Supabase, on servers in the European Union (Frankfurt, Germany).
- The website files are served by a web host. Your work is not stored there: it is saved straight to your account in the EU.
How long
While you are my student. When you stop, or whenever you ask, I delete your account and all your work, including recordings.
Your rights
You can ask to see your information, correct it, or delete it at any time. Just ask Teacher Lance in class or by email.
